In a collective act of joy as a form of resistance, hope flickers against the backdrop of increasing autocracy.。五年的牢狱生涯一朝结束，Billy重新踏入社会后遇到的第一个问题竟然是找不到地方解决内急。Billy火烧火燎之际他闯入一个舞蹈排练室找厕所，顺便绑架了Layla——一个女学生——并强迫她充当自己的临时女朋友去见他的家长。原来Billy这五年来一直在家书中告诉父母自己生活的非常美满，为防穿帮，不得已出此下策。Layla慢慢开始对Billy产生了好感，在Billy父母面前不但处处替Billy圆各种离谱的谎话（比如说她和Billy是因为同在CIA总部工作而认识），也顺利赢得了他们的好感。但Layla的表演更上一层楼，她宣布自己怀上了Billy的孩子，吓得Billy连忙将她带走，出门却又碰到Billy的前女友Wendy，一时手忙脚乱。Billy出狱后有两个心愿，一个是为父母继续编织美好生活的谎言，另一个是找到五年前害得他蹲大牢的人报仇，他最终发现了后者的行踪，正准备下手。。
